Perfectly positioned in the heart of Johannesburg if you actually wanted to leave the Monte Casino which has so much to offer from restaurants and entertainment in a beautiful environment. We loved our stay and would like to especially commend you on the most scrumptious breakfasts! Huge selection from 3 varieties of sausages, bacon, savoury mince, chicken livers, curried chicken peas, baked beans, stir fried veggies the list goes on…. Continental option with cold meats and cheeses, cereals, fresh bakes and pastries, fruit and yoghurt to end off with a waffle and coffee Incredible can’t praise you enough well done!!!

This is my second time staying at the Piazza and my stays are always over 2 weeks. What I love is that even though it has been 2 years between visits, the standard of the hotel has not dropped. I always feel comfortable staying their. Most of my interaction was actually with the housekeeping members and I have nothing but praise for them. Only reason cannot say anything about other members, is due to not having any issues, I did not need to make contact which in a way say how great it was staying their as their were no issues with my room or anything else. Thank you for a great place to stay

Staff were friendly at all times. The room and bathroom were clean and neat, which made the stay that much more amazing. The bed was comfortable and the weather was cold and rainy but the room was warm and when we requested extra blankets at 1am the front desk was friendly and helped immediately. Breakfast in the morning was delicious a big variety. However, I am halaal, so for me personally, most of the savory breakfast was off limits. Stay was amazing, and will definitely stay again.

The room was clean, has a separate shower and separate toilet and a small bar fridge to keep food cold. The location of the hotel is excellent, especially as we attended a show, the theater is only about 30m away. The breakfast was, as usual, excellent with a great choice (yogurt, fresh fruits, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, chicken livers, etc.) and fresh juices, coffees and teas. There are also gym facilities and a bar.

My husband and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the Piazza hotel. Breakfast was most enjoyable with such a wide variety to choose from. Friendly staff, safety and comfort ensured we had a most enjoyable stay. Room service was perfect with a nice fresh bottle of water each time. Two large bottles of water as a welcome gift. As far as we are concerned, we would most certainly visit the Piazza hotel again.
